Team Chicago Membership
As we approach the next Outgames in 2009 and Gay Games VIII in 2010, more and more things will be happening in Chicago's sports and cultural communities. Individual and groups of athletes will begin to form their training schedules in their attempts to reach their personal best! A key benefit of being a member of Team Chicago is the ability to join a network of athletes from the Chicago region and to receive regular updates relating to the various sports team and our members.
Team Chicago's Mission
Team Chicago provides individuals and organizations with the opportunity to participate in sporting and cultural events according to their personal interests and capabilities. Team Chicago’s mission is to provide support to the LGBT community, furthering participation, inclusion, and pursuit of personal best.
We do this through promotion, outreach, and sponsorship.
Join Team Chicago to support participation at Gay Games VIII in 2010 in Cologne Germany or World OutGames 2009 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Organizational Membership
Your organization's membership in Team Chicago will help to promote training for and participation in the Gay Games among your members. Organizational memberships are open to multi-sport, single sport, and cultural organizations. To acknowledge the importance of our organizational members, when an individual becomes a Team Chicago member, Team Chicago donates 10% of the membership fee to the organizational member listed on the member's application form.
Team Chicago also allows each organizational member to designate one representative for a no-cost Team Chicago membership. Team Chicago offers space in its newsletters to other groups and is open to other opportunities for mutual promotion and support.
