Plan to Participate in the
Midwest GLBT Sports and Cultural Festival

Get ready for the 8th edition of the Midwest GLBT Sports and Cultural Festival! This event was held from 2000-2005, attracting 2,400 participants in its last few years. The 2007 festival was the largest ever, with 25 events and more than 4,700 participants, nearly double the 2005 number. You may have participated in one of the Festival events without even realizing it.

There are great plans for this year's Festival. Last year's Festival included 21 events produced by 18 different organizations. These events - between May 20 and July 7 - had something for everybody. From poetry to opera to the Pride Parade and from badminton to a sizzling car wash. The 2008 Festival will be similarly amazing. Whether you compete, sit in your seat and watch, or cheer your team on, plan to participate in the Festival.
